Egremni beach, located on the west coast of the island of Lefkada, is often top ranking as the most beautiful beach in Greece and in the Mediterranean sea! The high white cliffs overlooking the white beach, made of thin sand and very small golden pebbles, an intense blue sea and a unique atmosphere!
The path to the beach has been closed since 2017 due to a heavvy hearthquake, but now is open again! You can park the car at the parking and then take a path down the cliff. The path until the beach is about 20 minutes long, it’s quite steep and can be difficult for some people. For this reason, it can also be reached by sea, with the numerous yachts that tour the island in high season.

If you don’t feel like walking down the path or taking a crowded boat, you can always enjoy the view from above! It is plenty of restaurants and bars overlooking the beach and this stretch of coast, with terraces on a gorgeous sight, best enjoyed at sunset!
