AGGIOFILI BEACH
MASTERPIECE OF NATURE!
It is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, there is no question. White pebbles (many heart-shaped), a cristal clear sea, high white cliffs protecting it.
It can be reached in 15 minutes by small boats departing every hour from the small port of Vassiliki. You can also arrive by car or by foot, along a dirt road about 3 km from Vassiliki, and a path going down to the beach less then a kilometer long. The last stretch offers an unforgettable view of the beach from above.
It is smaller in size than the famous Porto Katsiki beach, but for this very reason it offers a more intimate and relaxed environment. There is a small shack that rents umbrellas and sunbeds, but you will also find free space to lay down the towel!
WE SUGGEST
Wonderful beach, but very busy in high season. However, you can always find a quiet corner by moving away from the equipped area. Magnificent at sunset.
WHAT TO DO
Leaving the beach, you will pass through the small port of Vassiliki where you will find many shops, restaurants, taverns, bar and clubs. You can enjoy a gyros or the tasty greek cuisine sitting on the port harbour. There are many shops for traditional sweets, ice cream and crepes.
Lots of small shops for quality shopping.
